This is included in the daily rate for all hires and provides full cover with an insurance excess of $1,250. This means that in the event of an accident, irregardless of fault, the hirer is required to pay the first $1,250 of any damage done to the vehicle.

gold cover

This is the most comprehensive cover, for and extra $12.50 per day this reduces the standard insurance excess from $1,250 to nil. This means that in the event of an accident, provided you have not violated the insurance terms and conditions, the full cost of the vehicle repairs, and any damage caused to third party property, will be borne by about® rental cars, and not the hirer.
