The type of child restraint you need to use will depend on the age and size of the child. Please use the guide below to help you book the correct size Child Seat with us. As a general rule, if your child’s head is higher than the back of the child restraint, move them into the next size of child restraint. New Zealand law requires that any child under five years is properly restrained by an approved child restraint. They must not travel in the car if you can’t put them in an approved child restraint.

	Baby Capsule: Birth to 9kg (birth - approx. 6 months).
	Child Safety Seat: 8-18kg (approx. 6 months - 4 years).
	Booster Seat: 14-26kg (approx. 3 - 5 years)
